Common faults and solutions of temperature sensors

Author:QINSUN Released in:2023-06 Click:164

At present, more and more temperature sensors are used in different fields, and one or the other problem will inevitably appear during use. Generally speaking, it is rare for a temperature sensor to fail. As long as it is carefully inspected before leaving the factory, these situations can be avoided. Therefore, the temperature sensor should be inspected everywhere when it leaves the factory. Request the factory inspection report for reference.

Temperature sensor technology is very mature and is very common in various factories. Temperature sensors are often used in conjunction with certain instruments, and there are often minor flaws when using stand. Therefore, here are some common faults and solutions after encountering faults:

Transmitter output does not change when temperature of measured medium increases or decreases

This type of Most cases are caused by the tightness of the temperature sensor. It may be because the temperature sensor is not sealed well or a small hole is accidentally welded into the sensor during welding. In this case, it is usually necessary to replace the sensor shell to solve it.

Secondly, the output signal is unstable

This reason is caused by the temperature source, which is an unstable temperature. If the instrument shows instability, that is the reason why the anti-interference ability of the instrument is not strong.

Third, the output error of the transmitter is important

There are several reasons for this situation. It could be that the selected temperature sensor resistor wire is wrong, causing the wrong range, or the sensor may not have been calibrated at the factory.

It is rare for the temperature sensor to fail. So muchcarefully inspected when it leaves the factory, these situations can be avoided. Therefore, the temperature sensor should be inspected everywhere when it leaves the factory. Find the sensor manufacturer and ask them for the factory inspection report for reference.
