Principle of the test:

The purpose of the test is to test the scratch resistance of the paint. The common method of 100 grids is a manual test,and the operation is time-consuming and labor-intensive. When the instrument is in use, it is driven by two motors to control the length of the scratches and the distance between the scratches. The movement process is as follows: testing the first step, the reciprocating moving platform moves once (a semicircle), the cylinder lifts the scraper finger, the motor drives the scraper finger to move longitudinally for a certain distance, the cylinder drives the scraper finger down, then the reciprocating platform moves again (a half circle), the cylinder lifts the scraper finger, and the motor drives the scraper finger to move at again vertically from a certain distance, and so on. When the number of strips is drawn, the test card is manually rotated 90 degrees, and the test is completed after the second stage test. This instrument can achieve a grid spacing of 2.0 mm, which meets the requirements of the standard.
