Taber Wear Testing Machine Test Speed ​​Adjustment

There are two types of taber wear resistance testing machines: single wheel and double wheel. The equipment test speed can be selected at 60 or 72 rpm, and the selected speed is used as the default for each test until the speed is reset, and the speed will be displayed on the screen.

Main parameters:

01. Test piece: outer diameter φ108mm, inner diameter φ6mm;

02. Grinding wheel: φ2″ (MAX.52mm) 1/2″ (W);

03. Wheel center distance: 63,5mm;

04. Grinding disc and test disc Center distance: 37~38mm;

05. Rotational speed: 60/72 rpm;

06. Load: 250g, 750g, 1000g.

Our standard group R&D technical engineer said that when the speed of the test machine needs to be changed, the instrument must be in the stopped state (in working or grinding state. Status display must show Stopped).

1. Press MENU to display menu selection;

2. Press 1 in menu selection to select change speed;

3. Use the number keys to select “1”, for 60 RPM, choose “2” for 72 RPM. Marked with an asterisk (*) to indicate the current default speed.

4. Press START to start the test.

The speed of the test machine is in revolutions per minute, and one revolution represents one revolution of the turntable (the default speed isof 60 rpm).
