Definition of color fastness

Color fastness refers to the resistance of a textile\'s color to various influences during processing and use. During their use, textiles are exposed to various external influences such as lighting, washing, ironing, sweat stains, friction and chemical influences. Some printed and dyed textiles have also undergone special finishing such as resin finishing, flame retardant finishing, sand washing, wool grinding, etc., which require the color and color of printed and dyed textiles to maintain a certain fastness.

Types of color fastness

Color fastness includes color fastness to soap washing (sample), color fastness to rubbing, color fastness to chlorine water, color fastness to non-chlorine bleach, color fastness to dry cleaning, color fastness to actual laundering (clothes, fabrics), color fastness to sweat stains, color fastness to water, color fastness to light, color fastness to sea water, color fastness tohe saliva etc.

Introduction to general colorfastness

Colorfastness to washing: The sample is stableTogether with the standard lining washed, cleaned and dried and laundered at the right temperature, alkalinity, bleaching and rubbing conditions to obtain test results in a relatively short time.
