​What is the real meaning of the button pull tester tests?

The button pull tester test method is used to measure the strength of the vertical pull test on buttons and clothing. Buttons and buttons are not removed from clothing. Each set of knobs must be capable of withstanding a tensile force of at least 17 pounds (7.72 kg) and must be held for 10 seconds without any signs of loosening or damage. A minimum of 20 buttons of each style must be tested at the same time to be considered qualified.

If any of the buttons are loose or damaged, or all buttons need to be re-inspected after replacement.
