What preparations should be made before the Martindale Abrasion Test?

A. Preparation for installation

1. After unpacking the Martindale grinder, please wipe off the packaging wood chips and other dust particles with a soft cloth and place it on a firm, smooth work surface.

2. Place a piece of hard rubber between the Martindale Friction Tester, each adjuster foot and the workbench (reference size: 2 x 70 x 70mm) to ensure each adjuster foot is firmly touching the rubber piece

3. Plug the power cord into a 220V AC 50Hz outlet, press den Power switch on the right side of the instrument, turn on the PoWe deliver.

Note : The case of the Martindale test instrument must be in good contact with the ground.

B. Preparing the test sample

1 . Diameter: (44+1) mm

2. Quantity: dry type 2 pieces, wet type 2 pieces

3. The sample should be placed in an environment with a temperature of 21 1℃ and a humidity of 65 2% for 4 hours before the test.

C. Preparation of the test interface

1. Set times: Click the value below to set the total number of tests in the pop-up window.

2. Set Speed: Click the value below to set the Martindale test speed in the pop-up windoweg.

3. Speed: The value below shows the current test speed.

Count Mode: Click the bottom arrow to select the count mode from the drop-down menu. Up means positive counting, and Down means counting down.

4. TEST: Click to start the test, click again to stop the test.

5. ZERO: Click to reset all test times to zero.

6. SETTING: Click to enter the setting interface.
